SUMMER SUNDAY SCHEDULE BEGINS JUNE 5: The
Session has approved the following summer Sunday
morning schedule for June
5-August 28. Please come and be a part
of something special:
9:00-9:45 a.m. – “SUNAGO”
“Sunago” is an informal all-church get-together in the Fellowship Hall
from 9:00-9:45 each Sunday morning in June, July, and August. “Sunago” is a Greek word from the New
Testament that means “gather together” (as in “For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among
them.” – Matthew 18:20). In lieu of
regular Sunday School classes, all children, youth, and adults are encouraged
to take part in this special time of fellowship, music, worship, learning, and
inter-generational activities, coordinated by CPC’s Director of Education and
Youth Ministries, Ginny Taylor-Troutman, with a host of other helpers. Don’t miss it!
10:00 a.m. – Worship
After the “Sunago” gathering in the Fellowship Hall, we will move to the
Sanctuary for worship. Please note that during the summer months,
there will be no Children’s Church during worship, but the Nursery age limit
will be extended to include children up to age 5.
